Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with CREATIVEBUG.COM GM (based in SF) on overall strategy and plan execution.
Manage a team based in Santa Monica and work closely with split office in San Francisco
Optimize website performance through a/b and multivariate testing with an ability to dig into the data and surface actionable insights to increase conversions and revenue
Interface with key stakeholders (editorial, marketing, business) to understand business needs and priorities
Translate business needs into delivery of Product Requirement Documents that clearly state the goals of the product and give an in-depth explanation of the desired functionality
Create or manage delivery of wireframes for pages and/or features to illustrate concepts
Work with the technology team to scope and prioritize the projects/features and lead them to completion
Possess working knowledge of technologies being applied to implementation of product
Manage communications around product launches that include partners and key stakeholders
Gather data through tests or competitive research to size opportunities for prioritization and shape products to be as engaging and useful as possible.
Lead creative / design reviews and user testing against project goals
Manage ongoing report and troubleshooting of platform issues and glitches
Stay abreast of competition and innovation within the space and use the knowledge to inform requirements and new product features
Identify dependencies, assumptions and constraints that affect the outcome of each project
Plan iterations and lead inspection efforts throughout life cycle
Collaboratively drive strategy discussions for product roadmap
Actively identify and manage risks to ensure predictable outcomes
Requirements:
6-8 years of significant product / project management experience in the online space, ideally on platform/application type products
Experience leading acquisition and optimization strategy in the product management team - complete life cycles of winning products in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership skills and initiative; must establish credibility within teams as a knowledgeable, effective contributor
Extensive experience in defining and documenting product requirements
In depth experience managing the technical aspects of a web product / platform
Working knowledge of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web and application development
Must be a committed team player, able to work both independently and interact with executive management, and other staff members
Working knowledge of Agile Development Methodology / Scrum
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with SEO and various monetization channels
Self driver, entrepreneurial mindset
Experience with eCommerce and/or eLearning
