Entrepreneur is known to be the sole businessman. A person who is having a sole trading concern and who looks after all the activities of the sole trading business is known to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is an independent profession. It is a one man's concern.

The sole trading involves the entrepreneurship of the businessman or the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur is the businessman who owns and does business. On the contrary, an employee is a person who works under an employer, a boss. An employee is accountable for many things. The employees are bound to obey the employer. The employees cannot take decisions by themselves; instead they have to follow the decisions given by the employer. Entrepreneurship is completely independent. On the contrary, the employees are accountable and dependent on the employer.

When the entrepreneur has to make a transition from an entrepreneurship to an employee then there are major adjustments on the part of the entrepreneur to make. The entrepreneur when becomes an employee have to change his mental state of being an entrepreneur to an employee. He should remove all the things associated with the entrepreneurship to an employee. The transition of an entrepreneur to an employee might take place due to several reasons. An entrepreneur might loose his business, become bankrupt, no sales in the business, no more money to run the business etc. when there is a transition of an entrepreneur to an employee you should accept the fact mentally and behave accordingly. You should not through tantrums how you used to be being an entrepreneur. There you were an owner now you are under an owner. You should realize this difference.

Being an employee and not and entrepreneur you may be on management position, as the vice president of any company or on a director job or any such other higher position. You should give more priority to the role that you are offered instead of focusing on salaries, though you may be paid high. Any of the management role may lead you to self-growth and development. The management position is hardly affected by the economic crisis thereby it is secured in nature.
