Profile

If you are an experienced Corporate Communications professional, who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented, and project-driven environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join our domain services team in Kirkland, WA. We are a leading end-to-end domain name services provider, operating a platform that is advancing the way businesses and consumers define and represent themselves online.   This is also an opportunity to join a passionate and motivated team that is in the process of becoming a standalone public company. In February 2013, Demand Media announced that that it was exploring the separation of its existing business into two independent, publicly-traded companies: a pure play media company and a pure play domain services company.   Our existing communications team will remain focused on the pure play media company, so this will be a key and exciting role in the domain services company as we execute the separation and introduce the new standalone brand. This is a leadership position requiring both collaboration with senior management to establish communications strategy, close coordination with business unit leadership, and planning and execution of all initiatives. Experience in media relations and crisis communications is required. Responsibilities include: External Communications

Develop and implement strategies for communicating significant events (earnings, acquisitions, product launches, crises situations, etc.)
Organize and coordinate all-hands presentations by senior management
Assist other departments that need to frequently communicate across the organization with their projects (HR, Legal, Stock administration, etc.)

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
