The Role:

Porter Novelli is seeking to hire an Executive Vice President, Global Talent Leader to be based in NY. This

position, reporting to the CEO, will have responsibility for organizational development, change

management and talent growth/transformation across our global footprint. The EVP will be an

innovative leader who is excited by the opportunity to support Porter Novelli’s growth and further its

status as a best-in-class workplace. Commitment and experience in diversity and inclusion, learning and

development, talent acquisition, employee engagement and performance management within an

agency, building a consultancy or management consulting environment will be key to ensuring an

understanding of our business model and impacting success across the network.

Responsibilities:

Help transform and lead a best in class and innovative, global talent function based on a

consultancy model

As a member of the leadership team, partner with the organization's leaders to attract, retain

and grow the best talent.

Provide guidance and work side-by-side with leadership on organizational change, employee

relations, people/performance decisions and actions, communication and collaboration, and the

rollout out of strategic HR/Talent and agency programs.

Be a strategic advisor to leaders and teams across the organization in efforts and initiatives to

develop and retain a high performing, engaged, diverse and effective workforce that supports

the strategic objectives and growth of Porter Novelli.

Help build an “on-demand, specialized” staff of talent for specific client engagements

Requirements:

18 years of applicable Talent/HR experience and organizational development with proven

change leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.

Results-driven, agile, change agent with experience managing an HR function and knowledge of

core HR functions encompassing employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance

management and compliance.

Unquestionable personal integrity, fairness and credibility necessary to gain the trust and

commitment of individuals at all levels of the organization.

General business and financial acumen with the ability to develop and utilize internal and

external data and metrics as they relate to and impact the business.

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - and an ability to tailor

communication style to diverse audiences globally.

Demonstrated success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

and creating partnerships at all levels within the organization to achieve results.

Empathetic and engaging individual, who listens well, is responsive, solutions focused and

results oriented.

The ideal candidate will have the following personal competencies and characteristics:

Expert in Talent Management: The Global Talent Leader will have a high level of professional and proven

experience, an acumen for human resources leadership, and the demonstrated ability to lead and

manage this area in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving organization. They will have managed a human

resources operation within an organization, will thrive in a purpose-driven environment that promotes

innovation, and be deeply committed to diversity, inclusion and equity.

Strategic and Entrepreneurial Leader: The Global Talent Leader will be an experienced leader with an

entrepreneurial spirit, a measurable track record of strong results, and an outcome-driven mindset. A

proven strategic thinker with the vision, capacity, and experience to understand and balance a complex

array of business needs, they will serve as a strategic voice for human resources on the executive team.

They will be a proactive, collaborative change agent who is eager to address the individual and collective

needs of the staff as a whole and who works effectively across the organization and in concert with

other leaders.

Change Management: The Global Talent Leader will bring a background in managing significant

organizational change and staff development, with a thorough, detailed and wide-ranging perspective

on the impacts of these changes on the culture of an organization. They will be forward-thinking and

have practical experience in communicating change.

Relationship Builder and Collaborator: Critical to success in this role, the Global Talent Leader will be

skilled at building and sustaining strong relationships across Porter Novelli. They will be a natural

partner with a demonstrated ability to connect, build bridges, work collaboratively and command

respect. They will model a deep respect for people and a commitment to Porter Novelli’s values in all

interactions. Through their leadership and example, they will position the Global Talent Team team as a

trusted, solutions-oriented resource for all employees.
