dataxu is looking for a product leader to own strategy and execution across our products and features associated with both our proprietary DSP, TouchPoint and our extensive analytics and reporting suite, ClearSight. This person will set the agenda for both products and will have a high-visibility role within the company working with other senior members of the organization to drive strategy, through our advancements in the Ad tech space and through the convergence of digital analytics and TV measurement. The ideal candidate will bring in strong Product Management leadership skills, experience within the Ad Tech or Martech space, and experience within or related to the TV industry. Bonus points for a background working on traditional TV measurement methodologies combined with an understanding of digital analytics and the capability to build analytical tools that scale for agencies. This person will report directly to the VP of Product Management and will have management responsibilities within the Product Management team.
On the Job:
Serve as Product owner overseeing near-term priorities and the long-term vision for dataxu's capabilities and product features tied to the TouchPoint and ClearSight products
Provide subject matter expertise to the organization by building a world class self-service marketing platform
Own and manage multiple product initiatives through the full product lifecycle, from inception, to launch, to post-launch assessment and planning for the next cycle
Represent dataxu externally by participating in industry committees focused on shaping the technical direction of the evolving TV and programmatic media ecosystems
Advocate for customer and market needs using evidence-based reasoning (both qualitative and quantitative)
Hands-on leadership of requirements development process, including gathering market and internal cross-functional feedback, analysis, and efficient, detailed conveyance to engineering
Collaborate with product marketing and corporate marketing on competitive positioning and benefits-oriented collateral
Ensure smooth release process, release notes, user documentation, and sales enablement such as training and crafting compelling demos
Evangelize our messages to customers and industry peers via events, webinars and other external communications channels
Oversight of Product Management staff inclusive of daily responsibility, growth within their roles at dataxu, and ongoing performance management
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience (MBA a plus)
Proven ability to create new products and influence industry change
Product Management leadership required
Experience in TV measurement, ad tech and/or digital analytics highly preferred
Willingness to understand and advise on technical implementation decisions, in addition to user-level requirements
Self-service SaaS experience as a strong plus
Passion for getting things done in a fast-moving, complex environment
Experience analyzing product, customer, market dynamics and opportunities
Superior project and budget management skills, illustrated by strong track record of leading virtual teams in complex cross-functional environments
Outstanding communication skills, and in particular the ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages
Ability to solicit and synthesize customer and market feedback for actionable recommendations on positioning, messaging, and product development

DataXu was founded by MIT aeronautics and astronautics scientists who wrote the combinatorial language that guided NASA’s Mars mission plans.
