Job Description
Are you looking for your next career challenge? We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion! Someone who is passionate about defining, communicating, and amplifying ED&I values and health equity work at one of the nation\u2019s leading cancer centers.
 
Reporting to our Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, you will:

Partner closely with CMCO and M&C colleagues, implement a coordinated strategy to complement MSK\u2019s ED&I programs, including communications, events, and engagement tactics.
Partner with CMCO to implement an integrated strategy and plan to support MSK\u2019s Health Equity programs through patient communications, targeted outreach, advertising, events, and other tactics.
Write and/or edit employee-facing communications, video scripts, speeches, talking points about ED&I and health equity topics.
Ensure the integration of MSK\u2019s ED&I values in all Marketing & Communication touchpoints; ensure diverse and inclusive representation in all external brand touchpoints including web and social, editorial content, and advertising creative.
Identify and amplify stories and achievements about MSK employees/fellows/students with under-represented or non-traditional marginalized backgrounds.
Establish metrics to evaluate performance of MSK\u2019s ED&I and Health Equity strategies; report progress routinely to CMCO.
Remain current on all trends and standard methodologies related to the improvement of ED&I initiatives; proactively educate and share perspective with Marketing & Communications colleagues.

YOU HAVE:

10-15 years of well-rounded experience with internal and external communications, integrated marketing, crisis communications and issues management, and HR communications/employer brand, with an emphasis on ED&I and with increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience in complex and multi-faceted organizations
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills; executive presence.
Genuine enthusiasm for the healthcare industry, cancer care, research, and education, and MSK\u2019s mission.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and apps
