The Team
The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) team falls under the US Technology Strategy and Partnerships. We aim for Deloitte US to be at the forefront of technologies that are shaping the future. We provide insights on the impact to our clients, businesses, and talent by:
Driving inspiration & alignment on technology that is now, next, and beyond to steer our clients and Deloitte toward inspiring futures
Providing an enterprise-wide pulse & perspective of the tech workforce and deliver resources and communities to foster an engineering culture
Orchestrating the activation of tech strategy, priorities, op model best practices within each business as well as advance the effectiveness of our Tech narrative/branding efforts internally & externally
What you'll do
The practitioner will support development and execution strategic initiatives under the Office of the CTO's Tech Strategy team. This individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with Deloitte's adjacent businesses - Consulting, Risk & Financial Advisory, Audit & Assurance, and Tax as well as Enabling Areas such as US Innovation's Artificial Intelligence Strategic Growth Offering (AI SGO), Technology Services, Talent, and Risk - to harness disruptive technology internally (operations, assets, infrastructure, capability building) & externally (new business growth, external positioning, research & eminence).
Responsibilities may include:
Work with Tech Strategy leadership to drive/support the development of strategies, roadmaps, and workplans for individual initiatives to advance fiscal year priorities
Build relationships and serve as a liaison with business CTOs, SGO teams, and other stakeholders
Support business specific tech initiatives as a Green Dot liaison throughout the year (I.e. AI delivery transformation, digital citizen)
Support research, analysis, and collateral development for emerging tech and strategy activation initiatives related to emerging tech trends and market positioning
Execute project management, operations, and reporting activities across initiatives
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's Degree
5-7 years of consulting experience with working knowledge of emerging technologies
Experience advancing artificial intelligence or emerging technologies within the firm or with clients a plus
Strong senior executive communication (verbal and written)
Experience leading and managing projects
Ability to work independently and be self-driven
Ability to lead through influence
Excellent focus on details and ability to produce high quality work products, particularly in PowerPoint
Demonstrate a depth of analysis and critical thinking
Location: Open (United States)
Travel:
Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve (the role is primarily virtual with targeted travel for team meetings).
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425 to $159,165.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
