Benefit programs vary by country, whether provided through company-sponsored insurance and programs, through statutory government programs, or a combination of both.n nRegardless of geographic location, our commitment is to offer the following, whenever possible:nn Benefit plans that meet all local statutory requirementsn A range of programs that reflect typical local market practicesn An opportunity for employees to tailor benefits to their specific needsn Benefits that balance employeeu2019s short-term and long-term needsnnClick HERE for more information regarding our benefits and total rewards programnResponsibilitiesnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.nn Supporting customers with understanding the economics associated with Integrau2019s wound and surgical reconstruction technologies, appropriately documenting indications, procedures, and related costs,n Establishing productive, collaborative working relationships with sales representatives, sales directors, and regional business leaders within the assigned region. n Addressing reimbursement issues and educate key customers on coding, coverage, billing, and reimbursement for Integra products for both the Wound Reconstruction and Surgical Reconstruction franchises.n Supporting the field sales organization in the differentiation and promotion of Integrau2019s technologies with clinical and economic data to positively influence business objectives. n Supporting the field sales teams in realizing opportunities and overcoming challenge experienced by customers utilizing a divisionu2019s emerging technologies and commercially marketed products and integrating the use of economic tools when appropriate. n Supporting regional sales representatives in Value Analysis Committee (VAC) submissions and presentations to hospital decision makers and surgeons.n Providing reimbursement and economic support to sales force and key external stakeholders (e.g. hospitals, clinicians, investigator sites, professional societies) as appropriate.n Providing appropriate in-service training to sales and customer to increase awareness and understanding of appropriate documentation of procedures and their related costs.n Conducting regional reimbursement training programs as needed.n Working closely with Program Directors, physicians, coders, billers, and office managers to ensure the most up-to-date information is available regarding coding, coverage, and Medicare reimbursement.n Working in conjunction with the Reimbursement Call Center team in educating healthcare providers on prior authorization and payer appeals requirements and coverage status.n Monitor policy developments that impact reimbursement of Integra products and educate field sales teams and customers as appropriate. n Building relationships in assigned markets with government, physician, hospital and third-party payer decision makers. n Travel requirements: 40% -60% (field-based position).nnQualificationsnn Education: n n B.S or B.A. degree required. n n Experience: n n 10 years of experience in payer relations, reimbursement and/or health policy.n 7 - 10 years of successful sales, marketing and/or negotiation experience.n Deep understanding of public and private market access landscape with an emphasis on coding and reimbursement. n Strong communication skills, including proven track record of presenting market access and economic information to both large and small groups in a way that is both easy to understand, credible and effective. n Experience working in a team environment with an emphasis on collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients.n Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Sales and Marketing, Medical Affairs, Professional Affairs, Regulatory and Legal to ensure appropriate market access inputs are incorporated in operating plans.n Experience and strong subject matter expertise in financial systems and management practices of healthcare providers (physicians, medical directors, HCPs) in a variety of settings (hospitals, hospital outpatient clinics, ASC's, ACOu2019s, wound care clinics, and physician offices).n Experience with government facilities (VA hospitals and clinics, DOD facilities).n Experience with advanced wound care technologies (skin substitutes, advanced wound dressings, growth factors, antimicrobial dressings) and orthopedic devices a plusn Experience liaising with National Accounts team members on contracting opportunities.n Sales and negotiation skillsn Creative, problem solving skillsn Developing and executing market access strategies for medical device productsn Executing strategies to help shift payer perceptions to think holistically about therapy benefits and costsn Leveraging health economics & outcome research in value propositions.n Working effectively within market access teamsn Effectively communicating and concisely explaining complicated concepts to executives within and outside of the firm.n nnn In an effort to minimize the spread of the coronavirus and to protect our employees, all new hires in the US and Puerto Rico will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in order to be considered for employment with Integra LifeSciences, unless eligible for an accommodation as provided by law.n
