Associate Vice president Jobs are for marketing professionals who are interested in leading the firm from a senior managerial position. The candidates who get these jobs are usually already marketing managers and have experience in handling big client accounts. The associate vice president main tasks include being able to create detailed plans for the geographic region allocated to them. He has to evaluate the performance of the area managers under him and maintain and develop clients’ executives at his managerial level.Most of the associate vice president jobs require that the candidate have at least a bachelor’s degree in business and more recently the demand for candidates with a MBA degree have increased. The candidate must also have at least ten years experience as an area manager in most cases although the requirements vary widely from company to company. The salary range for associate vice president jobs in industry is above $60,000 and the benefits again vary based on the company.
