Vice President, Products Jobs description
Vice President, Product Jobs or product manager jobs as they are more commonly known, as found in manufacturing industries. Most people doing Vice President, Product Jobs are responsible for product planning and executing it, as well as seeing it through its marketing and sales cycle. In short, the director is responsible for the entire cycle from inception to final sales and service. To achieve this, he has to be able to work with sub-contractors, various departments and retail outlets when necessary.To get Vice President, Product Jobs, a candidate usually has a few years of experience in a managerial position along with at least a MBA degree is seen as a requisite. In several manufacturing industries, a technical background may be required. The job also entails travelling to meet with third party vendors and clients. The product director also has to develop various sales tools and oversee development costs along with maintaining the budget related to the project.
